Broadband UHF Cardioid Antenna, vertically polarized, ready for DTV/5G Broadcast/Next Generation TV
KATHREIN offers a new range of broadband vertically polarized UHF Cardioid Antennas. The "Plug-and-Play" antennas are fully assembled, may be top- or side-mounted, and can handle a power up to 5 kW. They come in a slim self-supporting GRP cylinder with low weight and low windload, designed to withstand a windspeed up to 240 km/h. These antennas are also characterized with low VSWR/Return Loss. Initially, a 4 bay and 8 bay version will be offered, others on request. They are a very economical choice for metropolitan MPMT transmitters or gapfillers in UHF DTV, ATSC 3.0 or 5G Broadcast networks.
