KATHREIN Broadcast has introduced a new UHF broadband panel for 4-around configurations on large size square steel spines. It provides smooth horizontal radiation patterns, that are comparable to 5-around solutions, even on cross sections up to 800 mm.

"UHF steel spines with a sidelength of 700 – 800 mm are very helpful for safe climbing inside", says Jörg Lippert, CEO of KATHREIN Broadcast. "With our solution, the customer can benefit from the optimal  climbing  space  at  roughly  20 %  less  cost  compared  to  a 5-around solution".

Recently, KATHREIN received an order for this solution, and the factory tests proved the quality of the radiation patterns up to 790 MHz.

KATHREIN also offers system retrofit for various technical solutions and products, such as 4-around and 5-around UHF panel systems, as well as antennas in GRP cylinders. These can be made ready for the latest DTV, 5G Broadcast and NextGen TV technologies.

Even products from other suppliers, which are no longer available, may be supported.

We are looking forward to provide you with further information and discuss your specific requirements. Please visit us on IBC exhibition booth no. 8.C50 or contact us by e-mail: support@kathrein-bca.com
